“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven.”
Here’s a little reminder today: God is faithful to keep His promises. If He said He will do it, then He will.
It seems that God rarely turns up on our time, but He ALWAYS honors His. And as He does, at that moment, we discover His timing is invariably perfect.
Congrats to Coach Schrader and the LCA USSA Boys Basketball team on their State Championship!
We are still reenrolling for the 2020-2021 school year! Thank you so much to the nearly 75% of you in our Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School who have completed re-enrollment for next year and so many of you who came out for one of our greatest Preview Nights yet! We are so excited to move forward together! If you haven’t reenrolled yet, it’s not too late! Be sure to log into your ParentsWeb account and complete enrollment today! If you have any questions or problems, please contact our Admissions Director, Hannah Griffin at [email protected].
We will not have classes on Monday, March 9th at LCA! Enjoy your long weekend and we will see you Tuesday!
LCA will be hosting an online fundraiser that is easy to participate in! Of course, we all want LCA to be the best it can be, and to help with that, WE NEED YOU! Pampered Chef (PC) is a wonderful company who makes some of the greatest kitchen gadgets and products. LCA is partnering with PC to bring you some of their fabulous products and a great way to help our school! It’s super easy — all you have to do is invite your family & friends to the online party via Facebook and keep track of who orders from your link! We will have prizes for the Top 3 students and Class with the Most Sales! We so appreciate your help and commitment to our school and thank you in advance for helping us to make this a great and successful fundraiser!
You can find the Online Party HERE!
Open House is coming soon! This is a great night for families and friends interested in LCA to come out, have a great night with food and fun and get to know the faculty, staff, and also the heart behind who we are! Invite your friends, your coworkers, and your neighbors– we would love to see so many new faces and share who we are with the community!
We have many service hours opportunities for this event. Beginning next week, we will have flyers available for you to take and hang in your workplace and/or public locations. This is an easy way to earn service hours, per flyer. (Limit of 4) We will also have small invite cards available for your family and friends. Any new prospective family who attends Open House with this card and your name on it will earn 3 service hours each! We will also need volunteers for the evening of Open House — if you’re interested in any of these opportunities, please email [email protected]
Graduation and Baccalaureate will take place at LCA on May 9th and May 11th. Baccalaureate will happen first on the 9th at 7 pm. Graduation will follow on the 11th at 8 pm in the gym. All students and parents are invited to join us for these special events to celebrate the Class of 2022!
Do you love to travel? Do you love to experience new foods, new people, and new cultures? If you said yes we would love to have you join us on our next tour to England! We will be going in the Spring of 2021. If you would like to see the full itinerary, please click on the following link and come join us on a trip of a lifetime!
Attached is a flow chart for traffic here at LCA. If you are entering from the west or exiting to go west, please use the west entrance/exit. If you are entering from the east or exiting to go east, please do so using the east entrance/exit. Also, in the mornings, we have a “drive-thru” drop-off zone. This is for parents that are not exiting their car but just dropping off their students at the door. If you plan on getting out of the car with your student, please use the other lane to go around and park your vehicle in the parking spots. We want to keep our kids safe and appreciate you helping us to do so.
*Our Residential Homes are in need of twin mattresses and chests of drawers! If you have these items you would like to donate, service hours can be awarded! Please contact Mrs. Miller at Ka[email protected] with questions or to arrange a donation!
*We are looking for people who would be able to help us drive international students to and from doctor’s appointments! Most appointments happen at Utah Orthopedics in South Ogden, near Ogden Regional Hospital, and are scheduled during the day. If you are interested in being on the “on-call list” to help out with this need, please email Mrs. Miller at [email protected]!
