Thursday Notes: December 5th, 2019
Our sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to the Sligar family after the passing of their beloved husband and father, Dave. Dave went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2019. He is fondly remembered and deeply loved by all of us at LCA and our hearts are with Cheryl, Heather, Jenn, and Dan as they walk this journey.

*If you would like to send a card to the Sligar Family, you may do so by dropping it off in the Main Office and we will forward directly to Cheryl and her family. We will also be sending out information on ways to sign up to help provide food for the family as well later this evening.
Basketball Season
Basketball season is underway at LCA for both our boys and girls teams! Make plans to join us this season at LCA or on the road as we make our way towards a winning season!

Drama Production
Christmas Break
Christmas Break will begin on December 20th at 11:30 am. The school will resume on January 6th at 8:30 am. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas celebration and Happy New Year with friends and family!
Travel Club
Do you love to travel? Do you love to experience new foods, new people, and new cultures? If you said yes we would love to have you join us on our next tour to England! Traffic Flow
Attached is a flow chart for traffic here at LCA. If you are entering from the west or exiting to go west, please use the west entrance/exit. If you are entering from the east or exiting to go east, please do so using the east entrance/exit. Also, in the mornings, we have a “drive-thru” drop-off zone. This is for parents that are not exiting their car but just dropping off their students at the door. If you plan on getting out of the car with your student, please use the other lane to go around and park your vehicle in the parking spots. We want to keep our kids safe and appreciate you helping us to do so.
Service Hours Opportunities
*Our Residential Homes are in need of twin mattresses and chests of drawers! If you have these items you would like to donate, service hours can be awarded! Please contact Mrs. Miller at Karen.Miller@LCAeagle.org with questions or to arrange a donation!
*We are looking for people who would be able to help us drive international students to and from doctor’s appointments! Most appointments happen at Utah Orthopedics in South Ogden, near Ogden Regional Hospital, and are scheduled during the day. If you are interested in being on the “on-call list” to help out with this need, please email Mrs. Miller at Karen.Miller@LCAeagle.org!
*We are in need of new ADULT-style male twin-size comforters, sheets, and pillows for our International Houses. If you would like to purchase these items for LCA, DOUBLE service hours will be given when you bring in your receipt. (Example: $25 comforter set = 5 service hours.) These items are needed as soon as possible with a deadline of December 13, so please let us know! Contact Karen.Miller@LCAeagle.org with questions!
