We are already in full swing for Quarter 3 and have welcomed over 50 new students for this semester from Preschool – 12th grade! We are so excited to be continually growing our community and look forward to getting to know all of the new faces and families! If you are new to LCA, welcome to the family! We are SO glad you’re here!

No School
In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, there will be no school on Monday, January 16th. Classes will resume as normal on Tuesday, January 17th.
Inclement Weather Information
While we are so very thankful for all the rain and snow to increase our water supply, it has presented us with more than normal hazardous road conditions this year. In the past we have always stated, if you feel it’s not safe to travel, then please stay home or come later when you can. While this is still true, we have more factors to consider now. We have teachers who travel all the way from Tremonton or from Salt Lake City and we have 18 vans that bring students to school from our Residential Homes.
Our policy has always been to cancel by 5:30am due to the fact that Extended Care starts at 6am. It seems lately, however, that the real snow doesn’t start until after 6am. Moving forward, we will make the decision to cancel school by 7am at the latest or if needed, delay school for 1-3 hours. If you have already dropped your student off before the cancellation occurs, we will contact you to come and get your student as soon as possible. If you cannot, we will make sure to care for them until you are able to get here.
As always, please watch your emails and social media on inclement weather days for updates.
ReEnrollment
We will begin reenrollment for the 23-24 Academic school year soon! Keep your eyes out for a reenrollment packet that will be emailed and sent home (elementary students) with your student in the coming weeks! We are already making plans for an awesome new school year! For questions on reenrollment, please email our Admissions Director at Hannah.Griffin@LCAeagle.org.
Lunch Menu Update
Due to a shortage of cup of noodles and noodle bowls these items are no longer available for lunch ordering. If they become available again, we will add them back into the menu. Thank you for your understanding.
Drop off & Pick up Protocol
As you’re likely already aware, we have done a large renovation to our parking lot and outside area this summer! We are so thankful for the Grant Funding that was made available to us to complete this project! Please notice during drop off each morning that there is a designated drop off lane for those letting kids out. If you plan to park to drop off or pick up your child, please do so in the designated parking slots. Please do not park in the drop off lane and wait for your child.
Thank you for your help to make this a smooth and safe process for our children!

LCA Housing Needs
We know during the holidays sometimes people upgrade their furniture and don’t know what to do with theirs. We have a few more homes we need to furnish for our Residential Program. If you have gently used but in good condition furniture, please send us photos and maybe we can take it off your hands!
Thanks so much! We appreciate all you do to help with our ever growing program.
